You can call me Lo-it’s nice to meet you! I’m the proud founder of Lo’s Lettering HTX, your one-stop-shop for live event artistry, calligraphy, lettering, and engraving based in Houston, Texas.
I’ve been passionate about different art and writing styles for as long as I can remember. From doodling cartoons while watching them on TV, to experimenting with my first calligraphy set in middle school, I have always had a connection with art.
Being lucky enough to share my script with businesses and individuals alike has been one of the biggest honors of my life. I assist restaurants and retail businesses on a consistent basis with signage, and also create custom gifts, signage, and much more for Houstonians. I’d love to hear about what projects you would like to bring to life, and help make them a reality!
A few fun facts about me: I am a native Hawaiian, and was born in Honolulu on an Air Force base. My family soon relocated to Austin, Texas, where I spent the majority of my childhood. Upon graduating high school, I moved to Houston to attend the University of Houston. This is where I continued one of my other passions, dancing! I was captain of the UH Dance Team, graduated with a degree in Advertising, and lived out a life-long dream of dancing for the Houston Rockets for 2 years. I met my husband Derek here, too! We have settled in The Heights with our identical twin boys, Kai & Max, and our rescue mutt, Khaleesi.
